NCS-TT105 Temperature Transmitter Wiring Shown:
For two-channel measurements, both channel units must have the same settings (e.g. both temperature units).
Failure Alarm Setting :
The HART temperature transmitter has a self-diagnostic function. When faults are detected, such as sensor open circuit, sensor short circuit or AD error, the transmitter will automatically output alarm current. The mode of alarm current depends on the setting of fault alarm current dial switch on communication card. When the "AL" dial switch is on the side of OFF, the alarm current is higher than 21.75 mA. When the AL dial switch is on the ON side, the alarm current is <3.7mA.
Configuration protection settings:
HART temperature transmitter provides dial switch settings for device configuration protection or not. When the configuration protection status is set, the dial switch is transferred to the ON side and the socket card does not allow any operation to change the configuration of the device. Conversely, a dial switch on the OFF side allows configuration changes to be made to the device.
