Types and differences of pressure transmission
Types and differences of pressure transmission
1. Gauge pressure transmitter:
Gauge pressure transmitter is a pressure transmitter with local atmospheric pressure as the reference zero point.
2. Pressure Transmitters:
The pressure transmitter is a pressure transmitter with vacuum as the reference zero point. In the course of use, the reference zero point of the sensor can be adjusted automatically with the change of location and area without correction. The appearance is the same as the gauge pressure transmitter.
3. Differential pressure transmitter:
The differential pressure transmitter is a pressure transmitter that measures the pressure difference between two pressure chambers. The differential pressure transmitter has two pressure chambers "+" and "-" respectively. Respectively accept two pressures as the comparison value, and usually take the end with the larger pressure as the "+" pressure chamber.
Attention: When ordering a differential pressure sensor, please pay attention to a parameter unique to the differential pressure transmitter-static pressure resistance. For example, when the differential pressure transmitter we use is used, the pressure on the “+” end of the transmitter is 10MPa, and the “-”
The pressure on the pressure end is 10.5MPa, then the differential pressure measured by the transmitter is: 10.5-10=0.5MPa
The static pressure of the transmitter is 10MPa. In the application process, the use of high static pressure and low differential pressure is not uncommon. The static pressure of the ordered differential pressure transmitter should not exceed the static pressure resistance value of the differential pressure transmitter, otherwise, it will be easily damaged.
4. Input/plug-in level transmitter:
Liquid level transmitters are divided into two types: drop-in type and plug-in type. The two forms are the same, both of which convert the pressure received into the liquid depth. When the water depth is 1m, the pressure on the transmitter is 10KPa. When ordering this type of sensor, please pay attention to:
1). The density of the measured liquid should be notified to the production unit.
2). When the measuring medium is corrosive, the production unit should be notified.
3). When the temperature of the measured medium exceeds -10°C and 60°C, the production unit will be notified.
5. Medium and high temperature pressure transmitter:
For the measurement site environment temperature is too high or the temperature of the measuring medium is too high, the medium and high temperature pressure transmitter must be used. The transmitter has a good zero temperature coefficient and sensitivity temperature coefficient, which can ensure measurement accuracy in a higher temperature environment . When ordering this type of transmitter, the temperature of the measuring medium and the ambient temperature must be informed, in order to facilitate the manufacturer to deal with it reasonably.
