Application of WirelessHART
Location: Maoming, Guangdong, China, the maintechnical solution is wirelessHART gateway+corrosion equipment (third party) + repeater + PCsoftware, using distributed management mode,each subsystem is responsible for monitoring aregion in the plant, through RS485 or EthernetAccess to the host control system, so that thefactory in the control room through the hostcomputer software can fully monitor thecorrosion of the entire plant area, to ensure thebenign operation of the equipment.
Wireless devices are installed on the top of each vehicle tank; gatewaysare arranged outside the control room or in a relatively centralizedposition of meters. At the same time, a certain number of repeaters arefixed around the mobile area of the tank car in the factory, providingmultiple redundant paths and strengthening the network to ensure thatthe intelligent gateway can receive all signals through the wireless self-organizing network.
Microcyber’s G1100 intelligent wirelessHART gateway realizes seamlessintegration with the control system and data exchange. The staff cancontinuously monitor the temperature and pressure in the controlroom. When the measurement data is abnormal, the staff can takemeasures to reduce the temperature and pressure on the tanker intime.
The tank area/tank overflow monitoring provided byMicrocyber can be operated independently, real-timemonitoring of the liquid level of the tank and thepressure and temperature inside the tank; when thedetection data is abnormal, manual cooling andpressure reduction measures can be adopted to ensurethe absolute safety of tank area.
